Will be announced closer to the event.

The event is seven full days. There will be stretch, snack and meal breaks throughout the day. A large part of this event is focused on developing your speeches and practice time with a break day in the middle to site seeing, relaxing on the beach or possible some group activities.

Yes, there are a few things that you may want to bring. Start with bringing your story journal and write down up to 10 stories, if you need any help feel free to ask your peers in the Facebook group about what they have been doing so far. If possible before you come, sign up for a local toastmasters club in your area. It will be important for you to start practicing your signature speech on a regular basis coming out of the BFSA II.

Dress comfortably. You’ll be in the Dominican Republic and mostly on the beach so bring your beach clothes but always bring layers as the wind tends to pick up during the day on the beaches in Caberate. I would suggest bringing workout or hiking clothes for our day off in the middle just in case we plan to do something all together. Bring water shoes or shoes with grip that you don’t mind getting wet, just in case.

You are coming to this event to learn and to develop new skills. And, we hope, to have fun. It is worth spending some time before you come to really think about how improving your professional and public speaking skills will impact your life, relationships, and business. The stronger your ‘why’ the more you will learn.
